Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on Vista 64

Anyone here been to get this to work?

I can install the x86 version but cannot use it as i have the x64 version of .NET installed. But it wont let me install SQL Server 2005 SP2.

Anyone know of a fix for this?

Which version do you have of SQL server, x86 or x64?

If its the 32bit version, you will more than likely need the 32bit version of .net

I've spent half a day looking for a 64bit version of SQL Server, didnt think there was one.

On a 64bit system you cannot install 32bit .NET - Well i couldn't anyway
