Microsoft support number? For returns/refunds

Hi all

Sadly I had a faulty refurbished Xbox series S bought direct from Microsoft that I had to send back, I logged request via my MS account it then emailed me label which was all good, I sent off and UPS said it was delivered 2 weeks ago...but on my MS account it just says "Return in progress" "Return label expired" .... Only option is to contact support but that brings you round in circles.... I managed to speak to someone from Xbox team on chat but was pretty useless and clearly did not have access to my account and just said to wait for 21 days but felt like he did not understand question...

Anyway anyone done a MS hardware return and knows how long it takes or knows how to actually speak to someone?

To be fair to them, I got in touch with them by email in 2022 to report a fault with an item that was coming upto the last six months of a 3 year warranty.
The support assistant asked for a photo of the serial numbers etc and within 3 days a replacement had been dispatched and came a few days later with UPS.
The replacement was a newer model worth £120 compared to the £100 I'd paid for the original which was a pleasant surprise and they didnt even want the old one back.

Good thing about it was that I was going to throw it away and only noticed it had a 3 year warranty when on a site looking to buy a replacement.

I had read some bad reviews about their support which is why I went down the email route so I had record of what they said just in case they were time wasters.
