If you can't install Apps to the SD card, and you can't add folders on the SD card to your libraries, then what's it for?

I mean you can't add folders on it to your Music or Photo or Video libraries, so surely it's just this thing bolted on the side that you need to use Explorer to access?

Where are you getting teh folder thing from. Even microsft say stick music on the sd card.

The fact that you can't add removable disks to Libraries. I've never seen MS recommend that Windows 8 users put their Music and Photos on an SD card. I was asking where you saw that.

News on the issue was disclosed during a Reddit ‘ask me anything’ session with the Surface team. When answering a question that asked about the size of the Windows RT install, Ricardo Lopez replied, “After the OS, Office RT and a bunch of apps, you will still have more that 20GB. As you say, you can always add an SD card and while you cannot add apps there, you can get music, movies and photos there.”

Wow, the team trying to convince people to buy the product don't even know what they are selling. This trainwreck is going to be awesome.

The music and video apps rely on stuff being in the Libraries to make it show up, you can't put SD card content in a Library. Good job guys.

If Windows RT treats Libraries differently to Windows 8 Pro then that's an even more retarded decision than porting half of the Desktop to ARM because the Office team just couldn't be bothered to write Metro versions of all their Apps.

I thought this was a discussion thread for Windows RT, not the official supporters club. I'm discussing lots of reasons why it will be a horrible mess.
