So I'm thinking of getting Microsoft Surface Studio and wondering what would be the cheapest way of buying one. Do students get some money off from Microsoft products etc? My missus' brother is a student so I could drag him to a store if required so he can flash his student ID if that gives me some money off? :D

Apple used to give 15% off by simply going via uni URL back in the day but not sure if Microsoft is doing something similar..

cheers.

Cheapest would be to walk into the shop and swipe one, surely? :p

As an aside to the above, if buying online it's worth checking out cashback sites too, like quidco or topcashback

Online. Use the 15% off student discount and also atm for 2 more days you get 10.5% cashback from topcashback for a total saving of 25.5%.

Are you based in the US? It hasn't been released in the UK for the time being and no indication of when its going to be launched

Thanks guys, some solid pointers as usual :)

Is anyone of you thinking of actually getting the Surface Studio? I'm very tempted but going on a mugging spree might be my least preferred option lol

I've twisted the arm of one of the Project Managers here and we're going to try and get Microsoft to send us one to test to see if it has practical uses in our Environment.

Fingers crossed :D
