couldn't see any story similar.

I for one would welcome this new controller, as I find some of the Wii games to be very good fun and great for the family (might even get my missus playing on the 360).

It will be interesting to see which direction they take with it and what type of games they would produce.

It's supposedly called Microsoft Fluid and there is the usual run of casual games like bowling, etc. But instead of pins, you have to knock out coloured blobs which have their own personality. Or something.

I don't care if they are copying nintendo.

I just want a Wii with better graphics and games! If Microsoft can do this then good on them i say!

Aren't nintendo building a second generation of Wii to handle hdmi and resolutions upto 1080p... Or rumour mill shenanigans?

Technology is only as good as the apps that power it and so far while the Wii is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of possible entertainment, the games powering it are, er, crap!

Lost of a lot of faith in Nintendo and their commitment to the Wii when they released Pikmin the other month. Would have LOVED a totally new type of game, but no, same game just using the Wiimote. Sorry Nintendo but the world are not pushing you for Wiimakes*

Yeah, i saw Pikmin also. I was thinking, oOOoo that's cool, thinking it would be at most £20 as it was a remade game but no £40!

Well one things for sure, they could probably afford it :D, I doubt we'd get 1080p on the next wii though, probably a nice crisp 720p.

maybe Nintendo are going the other way and we'll end up with something like a spectrum + 2 with a groin attachment.

Is Fluid not rumoured to be the camera thing they have from 3DV? This is a different thing all together.
