Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone else had run into this issue or knows anything I can try out at home. Last night for the first time on my Windows 7 64-bit machine I got a crash which seemed like a display driver crash. I had to reboot the PC, but it would not get past the screen where it displays the motherboard make. Eventually it got further and booted to the desktop, but now I have yellow or blue lines running down the screen. On boot I get very strange symbols all over the screen too. I decided to check the Event Viewer which shows the following error:

I did some reading and it mentioned that this usually happens after bringing the computer back up from a sleep state, which is true as my computer was in a sleep state and I turned it back on, and after 5-10 minutes it died.
My motherboard is a ASUS Maximus Forumula and it already has the latest BIOS 1403 (2009). I tried re-inserting the RAM if that was the cause and it didn't help.
Any ideas? I need to try my graphics card when I get home, but if the mobo is fried then that's going to be a pain to replace
Thanks all.
