Microsoft Windows Server Web 2003

I'm looking at building a web server. I spotted this OS for around £250.

Will the be suitable? We have 12 citrix servers here, and there's going to be about 4 or 5 of us that will be uploading information to the web server.

Do I need to get a more expensive OS with 10+ CAL's (whetever the hell they are)?

CAL = Client Access License.

Whether or not you will need any CAL's will depend on your current licensing and servers.

I would have thought that web edition will do exactly what you are looking for however.

At the moment its all running from a box using Win2000.

It uses apache. So do I even have to worry about CAL's.
