Microsoft word problems

I am on a pc with word 2003 and have just received a very important attachment on an email that is in .docx format which can't open. I am a total 'tard with computers, but REALLY need to open the attachments.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do please?

If only there was a way to get word 2007 to open that attachment...

.docx is for microsoft 2007.. i think, could be wrong though

Install word 2007 Compatibility Pack.
