Is there a way to write something in position A and it automatically types the same thing in positon B?

Hi dmpoole. Not sure how to do this myself but I think if you post in the Programming forum you'll get an answer. Wouldn't mind betting some kind of macro is needed here.

You can post in there yourself or I can get this thread moved over for you. Let me know what you prefer.

I was practising with Macros last night and assigned a keypress but they were going all over the place.
