I see OCUK has these on special offer this week for £25.98 [http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GC-002-MS]

Does anyone have any experience of using them?

I want one controller to play the odd game - like Batman etc that really require a game controller - and two controllers to play Fifa 12.

Rather than own an Xbox I just plan to drag my PC into the lounge whenever I want to play a few games with a mate.

Is it going to be an hassle free experience or will running two wireless controllers through my PC going to leave me battling with problems?

They work perfect. I have 2 wireless ones set up on the one wireless adapter for Fifa and flying in BF3. The only thing is if you use them a lot it's a pain in the arse to replace the batteries and with the wireless you have to have it on before joining a server on BF3 or it won't sync up. I only sit ~3 foot away from PC so if I had a choice I'd buy the wired ones for convenience but if you sit far away and are full of batteries the wireless ones are perfect.

Cheers. I have rechargeable batteries and rarely play Fifa, but will definately need wireless as my TV is wall mounted in the lounge and would be sat a fair way away.

I think I will have to pick myself up a set.

Do OCUK deliver to work addresses?

They are great I use two controllers of one wireless receiver, so just buy a second xbox controller to add, you can have upto 4 of them depending on the game support. I also use the guitar hero wireless guitars on mine. Me and my partner enjoy gaming together.

Even the xbox guitar hero drums work fine with them and wireless xbox driving wheels. They are great buy for serious gamers. Remember you only need to plug in one wireless usb receiver into the pc and just pair the controllers to it.

If you use windows 7/vista/xp + 64bit the drivers are here :-

I initially tried to use my brother's Xbox wireless controller with my pc using it as a wired controller through its usb charger cable but I had no joy with that, so I ordered a Wired controller for the PC instead and that works great.

I'ts just a shame a lot of recent games only natively support the xbox controller. I'd prefer using my Ps2 or Ps3 controller but key mapping for each game is a pain and not really practical.

Yeah, I'd always played FIFA on PS2 but to be fair I've always found the Xbox controllers pretty good.

At least Microsoft will always offer decent PC support for them, which in turn means good game support. Will order a couple before the deal expires - will wait and perhaps order an Ivy chip at the same time...
