I'll be picking up the red one Monday as I missed the post Yesterday! Not sure when the girlfriends white controller is coming as she chose the free delivery option from the river. So we will have pictures eventually.

Oh yeah I saw that but it's got the wire design running over the black part and I don't fancy shelling out for a new 360 lol. Hopefully they will release a few more colours

It's not really much noticeably different from the matte controllers, it's certainly not slippy. The underside is still matte also.
On the last model they released when the Xbox Slim launched, complete with the twist d-pad design. It's all silver with two tone silver buttons, the buttons looked odd I thought.
I see the blue and silver ones have sold out of their initial allotment on the river. Picking up the red controller from the post office now when I should be in bed lol.

Was considering getting one of these but they look completely different from the pictures microsoft put up, no to mention the price :/
No reason to doubt the build quality coming from Microsoft .
