Anybody here beta tested this??

It's coming up for UK release on the 1st of June and, as I've mentioned in another thread, I am in need of an A/V program pretty soon for 6 pc's.

One thing I do know about OneCare is that they single subscription cover's 3 systems.

Anybody have any other experience of this?? I will grab the trial and test it out on a system soon.

**Edit**
The BBC has a news story on OneCare here:

Just installed it.

Looks ok but too early to comment yet. One gripe is that the built in firewall simply refuses to let messenger through.

Blimey!
Who would have thought it - a firewall by default doing what it is supposed to do!
Of course it will let messenger through, you just need to tell it to allow messenger through.
Firewalls are two way things you know - what use a firewall that simply allows all outbound connects from your machine no matter what?

NSS

Even adding messenger.exe to the known applications didn't work as it came up with "cannot add messenger.exe as a trusted application" and automatically removed it from the list.

Re-installed WLM and it now works.

Rather than post stupid replies read the author post correctly next time.

I won't be bothering with OneCare then as I am a regular MSN user
