Right-o,

Not been in these parts of the woods for sometime, now being a Macintosh user and all (Boo-Hissss!)

Anyhow my father has a computer bought from somewhere like Purple Shirt World, its getting on a bit nowadays, now heres the problem the board inside, the motherboard is an OEM, its not listed on MSI's website as its specifically built for these type of machines.

The computer has had problems, so ive formatted and done a fresh boot/install...

Now sound doesnt work, and neither does LAN etc etc.. There was no disc containing supporting drivers etc with the machine when it was bought (early 2000 i think) so i need Drivers! and finding them is proving very difficult, i am wondering if any of the trusty old OcUK can help out! your help would be deeply appreciated!

Info:

Mainboard: Microstar International
Model: MS-6747
Chipset: Intel / i865P/PE/G/i848P

I can use on-board sound and LAN its all good, its just an office machine, so onboard will do nicely.

Thanks again!

After a quick search try these chipset drivers - link -

EDIT - Manual for the board can be found here (pdf) this should give you all the details you need to download the correct drivers from wherever.

EDIT 2 - found all that out using a search engine you idle get :p
