microwave broke?

anyone here know much about microwaves?
if so, everytime i microwave something it makes a strong burning smell, it still 'does the job' it just smells any ideas whats wrong?

flux capacitor must be on its way out

so is a 'flux capacitor' a 'real thing' then , iv always thought of it as a made up object used in that car from back of the future




anyway nice fast responces ty all, Akira's idea of cleaning behind the gaurd sounds the best bet ill have to have a look (inside is clean)

just cook food that overpowers the burning smell. that's what i'd do

I don't use them so wouldn't know. But get it checked out ASAP. Is it still under warranty? Manufacturer?

ooo the microwaves probly older then me LOL (free 'gift') so its not under warranty
should probly get a new one really but like to use things all the way to 'the end'
