The paint inside our microwave has started to bubble so we’re looking to replace a standard microwave with a microwave plus oven, however are the ones with a built in air fryer anygood and can anyone recommend one?

We had one and I only used the grill function once, it also suffered from the paint on the inside bubbling, I changed it for a normal microwave with a ceramic coating on the inside.

If you want to use the grill then make sure there's no food splatter from microwaving on the grill\halogen inside the top of the oven, the smoke that it creates is mental

Yeah, looked at that was looking at any cheaper options. I think I’d want enamel internals as I assume that would fix the bubbling paint issue

I bought one of these a couple of months back when my previous 20+ year old Panansonic combi finally gave the magic smoke.

Panasonic Stainless steel internals + external. It's ~£30 less expensive if you want black or white externally, though they are still stainless internally.

Not an air fryer but I'm not convinced these Air Fryer models really work like a real air fryer as it's usually just a fine mesh to allow air around the food rather than the intense blast of hot air in a real air fryer.
We have a Zanussi air fry under counter double oven...... which is OK but not like a real air fryer and is my point of reference.
