microwave oven chips

Are any microwave oven chips worth buying? I am shortly going to be moving into accommodation where I won't have access to an oven, only to a microwave and I like the occasional few chips. Does anyone have any recommendations (for brands to avoid or to try)?

They aren't cheap, but I've had these before and they were good, obviously not so great if you prefer thick chips.

Micro Chips always turned out quite soggy for me, depends if you mind that kind of thing I guess.

I've had these before and found them quite pleasant. A lot better than micro chips. They actually stay quite crunchy.

Yeah, they are surprisingly crispy, considering they're microwaved.

If you dont have access to an oven how about a Phillips airfryer or Tefal actifry or similar? Or even a Deep fat fryer?

Thanks for the suggestion, but if I am to be buying any appliances it'd definitely be a worktop oven so that I can use it for more than just chips

As others said microwave chips always end up soggy for me as well. The way the microwave works it usually makes food soggy while warming it up

buy a standalone oven 35 quid! just as cheap as a microwave but your food wont taste like crap
