After having my Macbook Pro for nearly 3 years without any issues, the last few months the trackpad has been acting up. But not the entire trackpad, just the left quarter or so. This part of the trackpad doesn't register any touch but still registers physical presses.
If I swipe from the right side to the left, the mouse cursor will stop responding when my finger reaches this part of the trackpad. Also when I switch the click to on tap, the left part of the pad doesn't register any taps either.
It's annoying but I can live with it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this and if you got it repaired or fixed in some way?
