Good choice, i7/X58 really isn't needed for high end gaming, Phenom II is more than good enough.Cool - going to order my one minus the 590 case (going to change for the 300).

The main thing is that you have a good graphics card which you are going to buy anyway.
As for PSU, I've got an 850W its a lot more than I need but PSU's run most efficent when near to its 50% power mark so in my case around 450W.
Check out this Crysis Benchmark I ran using my rig, you will get more or less the same performance, this is using a 24" TFT at 1920x1080 / AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition @ 3.6ghz stock volts.
