keep your current card ;)

Read the thread ;) Built a new one for his son, didn't mention whats in it. (What is in it?)

The x1950pros seem to be good atm, seen them for under £130 with good coolers :)

There almost certainly will be a cheaper version of the 8800 that'll have brilliant bang for buck, same for ATi I should imagine.

judging by how long it took nvidia to get the 7600GT out of the door you will probably be wating a few months. Probably around Feb-March time.

A 8600GT would be sweet though especially if it can match how good the 7600GT has turned out to be.

i dont have a card for it that is the problem , i was gonna take my 7800gs out and try that as a last resort ,dont think he can wait til feb no patience these kids :)
