Evening all,
A friend of mine has approached me and has tasked me the job to find him a decent mid range laptop for £600 at the max. I did say to him that with £600 it would be a bit of a tight budget but apparently as long as he can play Far Cry 3 and Battlefield at decent settings then he's happy.
I've had a snoop online this evening and one laptop that I've came across a couple of times within this budget is the Asus X550 (i5-3337U, 8GB, 750 or 1TB, GeForce 720M 2GB). Another one I've found is the Dell Inspiron 15R which is a similar i5 variant but it features a Radeon 7730M graphics card instead. May I also point out that the hard drive & OS isn't really relevant too as he's planning on removing the drive when he gets whichever laptop and he's going to be using an SSD with Windows 7 instead.
What do you guys think to the 2 laptops that I've found already or could any of you advise on another better model?
Many thanks - Liam
