My i5 750 and ATI 6750 are finally not cutting it to the level I'd like (unsurprisingly!). Plus the massive case I have feels a little unnecessary.

I'm not a particularly demanding gamer, happy to run at mid-range on a 1080p TV, so I'm considering getting an ITX setup which will do that.

Having not upgraded for so long, I'm pretty out of touch with hardware, so any suggestions would be appreciated. My budget is £500 (and ideally less!) - no monitor, optical drive, or OS needed, but I'd like an SSD of at least 256gb.

Up your budget or make some compromises :)

If you're wanting to go itx then a new motherboard/cpu/ram combo to better your existing setup will eat most of your budget. Add to that a GPU upgrade and that's your budget gone.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £495.42
(includes shipping: £10.50)

A cheaper upgrade would be a new GPU and SSD only. You'd be surprised at the difference it will make.
