I'm looking to replace my ageing X1950XT this christmas. I'm not as big a gamer any more so I'm not really looking to get a top range card any more. My budget is about £140, from my research I assume the HD5770 is my best bet?

I've currently got an E6600, 2Gb Ram, 600W PSU, is that enough for this card? Also is there anything else I should look out for, is that card a particularly long one? My knowledge is a bit behind the times but I remember when the 8800's came out they wouldn't fit in some cases because of the length.

At that price point the 5770 is a good choice.
The 5770 is a pretty short gpu great vfm it's as fast as a 4870 almost as fast as a 4890.But you get dx11 and it only needs a single power connector.
Hope this helps

Annoying thing about the 5770 is that the power connector is at the end of the graphics card, almost inside the air vent - so make sure there is a bit of space.
