A point tonight would see me very happy indeed at a ground where we have never won. A repeat of last seasons result , 1-1 with a Shearer howker (technical term) , would be welcomed.

Since we beat West Ham in December we have taken only one point from a possible fifteen and scoring twice in the process. :mad:

Toon FACT - This will be our 155th game in all competitions against City and only Arsenal have played us more (157).
 
Barton's a good player. Not good enough for Arsenal imo.

As Vandle has given us a TOON FACT I'll give us a GOONER FACT. It's the 2000 game at the Arsenal Stadium tonight.

We have nobody to replace him with and I mean nobody.
We have two reserve / youth players coming through the ranks at centre back.
One is out injured for the rest of the season after Souness brought him back to first team action when he was still recovering from an operation (Steve "the power" Taylor) and another (Peter Ramage) who Souness is playing at right back because he brought our current right back back into first team action too early.

Boumsong looked very shaky when he first signed , then he seemed to settle in.
He then had a mare against Man Utd at Cardiff and has never looked good since.
He is positionally unaware and his descision making is very poor.
What makes matters worse Souness paid £8.5m for him from his old pals Rangers - a figure that was artifically inflated by 3 factors.
1. Souness's public falling out with players and publically showing his desperation to replace them.
2. Souness's "special relationship" with Murray of Rangers , a relationship that Murray says , and I quote him, "Graeme has always been good to us , lending his support by signing players from us"
3. An agent called Willie Mckay , an agent for Boumsong , Babbayarro and Faye. An utter **** of a man who I wish dead.

To be fair his baby son is very ill right now so that has to be playing on his mind.

Or , to sum it all up - He's **** and its all Souness's fault.

looks like fat Sol is going to pieces, if Arsene had anybody to put on instead he would have been off by now, he is having a SHOCKER.

Bentley for Blackburn after a fantastic save from a person free kick.
Undeserved, they have not been in the match at all.
