middle mouse button not working in left 4 dead 1 or 2 anymore?

not sure if it's too do with steam or left4 dead or windows 7 .......... or my razor mouse!

any ideas? i simply don't have mouse button 3 available to choose in the custom keys on l4d 1 and the demo for 2. which is a pain with the scope.

i have windows 7 pro, a razor death and steam. not sure how i had it setup on vista

the firmware just crashes the mouse, i don't even get a process bar, the firmware says for vista 32bit nothing for win7 64bit, looks like my old mouse is coming out of retirement ! dam razor!

dunno what mouse button 3 should do in windows to be honest, but yeah in L4D it wont let me bind the button to anything it just does not accept it which is a pain for for sniping!

yeah just tried and it does nothing

- no driver on the razor site either, i have had win7 for a month now and not even noticed, infact i only use the button in l4d
