Hiya,
Am new here so hello!

I'm in the Market for a new pc and will be doing the bulk of my shopping here. Have pretty much nailed my spec, but one item is causing me farrrr too many hours on google!

I really don't want to have to go up to a full tower case, but feel I may be forced to.

I'm looking at watercooling (my first one! /excited) an i7 and xfire or sli gfx. Currently swerving towards sli 480s but let's not go down the route of nv or ati bashing, please!

So... Any rdcommendations on a good midi case fir watercooling. Triple rads will likely be minimum but may need to throw in more.

My problem is I can't figure out how to fit them in and keep coming back to the cosmos s as the ideal case, but it's pretty big.

I don't gave a huge problem with modding, so any advice welcome.

I really wanted a ln antec p193 but can't see how it can be done.

Cheers

To get a triple rad into a midi case is possible but yes you will more like likely have to mod the case. What are you wanting from watercooling? I am taking it you are wanting to overclock? Or are you just wanting a quiet PC?

Oh and as already liked, the CM-690 II Adv. is a great case that I am going to purchase myself in next couple of weeks.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, been looking at that case, is nice.

Why will a double and single rad need two loops? I always thought I could run this setup with one loop?

Rad outside the case isn't an option for me.

Primarily for low noise, but some OC.

Plan is 930 OC'd with two 480gtx in sli. Will probably OC the latter also if I can manage the heat well hence minimum triple rad, would like more but midi tower case is a big plus to me as I think the full towers are just ridiculously large!

Cheers

of course cooling a dual GPU on a triple rad would be more sensible than cooling 2 separate cards because of much lower heat output, i bet 2 fermi's need a triple rad all to themself without the CPU.

Is there a way of checking rads wattage heat capability?

I figured that with the stock heatpipe cooler on the 480, it would only need 120.1 rad per 480. Hmmmm.

Would a total of 4x 120 rads equivalent area do it? Looks like might be able to squeeze that into the cm 690 ii.
