Just thought I'd stick this up before i hit the hay (late night innovation)
Opinions on this setup below in a Sharkoon Rebel 9 Economy Midi.
The obvious thing thats a bit different here is the use of 120mm flexi ducting which will be attached to a 120mm intake fan, run direct to a 120mm fan infront of the heatsink and continue behind the heatsink to an 80mm exhaust fan. Cool air brought from front channeled directly through the heatsink and immediated sucked out the back.
I have two huge 160mm YSTech 12V fans, 1 of which will also act as an intake fan running at 7v sucking in roughly 70-80cfm for the other components.
On paper it looks pretty good to me and I can easily source the ducting materials.
Your opinions on wether this method will positively affect cpu temps etc. Im also thinking about an 80mm side fan directed at ram/northbridge.
