After having success from other Xbox Arcade titles such as classic Smash TV, Midway are now putting out a questionnaire to let gamers have their say in which titles they would like to see next on XLA.

Anyone on Midway’s mailing list can expect to receive a questionnaire soon with a list of titles, and their opinions on them. The added incentive to complete the questionnaire is winning a copy of Midway Arcade Treasures.

Gamers will be glad to hear that such arcade favourites as PaperBoy and Defender have been included on the list.

With some critics regarding Xbox Live Arcade as a missed opportunity and blatantly lacking some absolute arcade gems, this may be the chance for XLA to shine.

I think Paperboy is a certainty, which will definitely be a good thing. I hope more developers take time to send questionnaires to see what games people REALLY want, I know there are many other games I would have taken over ones currently available.

The Xbox Live Arcade needs a swift kick in the danglies, nothing new for ages and no SF2 that has been delayed twice.

Agree this is microsofts key to the next gen war they need to take advantage right now

Its just not updated enough

Still waiting for streetfighter............... :(

what im worried about with a lot of these older games is purely down to the d-pad on the 360 controller, i dont feel its as responsive and just doest feel right for me, and personally i dont like certain games with the analogue stick.

Problem is it isnt down to MS! They have the people developing these games from the arcade and its them that cant keep to the deadlines :(

I think the real reason its taking ages is down to copyrights and £££ who gets what % etc....

Lets face it these games are already made and have been for years :p
It doesn't take much effort to port them to live marketplace.

I mean all these games and a hell of a lot more are already out there being played online via emulation right now and this has been made possible by enthusiasts and hobbyists with next to no funding or capital of any kind

The delays have to be down to copyright and money there is no other excuse

Don't panic i am not going to post any links or talk about emulation anymore i am just making a point

I would love to see some old Amiga favourites made as Live Arcade games too. The Chaos Engine, Xenon 2 and Shadow of the Beast all deserve resurrecting. :D

What's needed is a multiplayer version of Star Wars.

Vector graphics, all taking it in turns to be either X-wing or Tie-fighters as you race down the death star to destroy it.

Tell ya, I'm in the wrong business, should be working for Acme-Games.

Add to that

Lotus Elite
Rainbow islands
Body Bows
Newzeland Story

Oh the list is endless Microsoft are sitting on a HUGE pot of gold

Sort it out!! :p
