Might be a silly question but can I run 2 different sets of ram together?

I'm not talking about using different brands or anything, they're the same brand, same speed etc just a different product code.

I've currently got these in my PC ▷ Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-2… | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk)

and I fancied an little upgrade and saw these were £15 cheaper ▷ Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB (2x8GB) 3200… | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk)

So, would this run ok or would I encounter problems?

Sorry for what is probably a noob question but I dont want to buy it if it wont work.

From my experience, running at stock / JEDEC settings @ 2666 Mhz or less, it's usually fine with a mix, but above that, you can run into issues. If you have a 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen then you'll need to make some adjustments to run 4 sticks, doesn't matter if they are matched or not. With 3rd or 5th, it varies.

If they're the same speeds they should be fine, but the different model number may signify there being different memory chips being used which can cause minor instabilities and some compatibility issues with some RAM kits. From personal experience i've had an old laptop just cease to boot with different models of RAM, best thing to do is just to test and see what happens.

I'm running 2 x 8GB and 2 x 16GB Corsair RAM in my PC, same specs apart from the actual size of the RAM. Not noticed any issues so far and it's running with XMP enabled to take it to 3600MHz.
