Might be time for an upgrade

So it seems that my current motherboard and possibly processor could be kaput. I've been having some RAM issues lately and I experienced a crash which I am now accustomed to happening (they happen sporadically and not too often) after the crash my asus p8z68-v pro's DRAM light came on. After doing my usual thing of removing the memory and reinserting it (not the best solution to the problem) the light remained on. So I thought I'd give the BIOS battery a pull to see if that made a difference... Removed all power cables pulled the battery and tried restarting after that... Low and behold CPU light shining in my face...

I guess either a few capacitors still had power in them or the cpu was the issue of my mysterious crashes (if only my RAM RMA had gotten here sooner I'd know)

Anyway... I'm in the market for a new z97 setup. Processors 4790k. Motherboard is what I require the most help with... I've not kept up massively on what boards are good/bad. I'd prefer asus or gigabyte. Full ATX is preferred too.

Bundle bought along with a nice new EVGA 970. Should be a nice step up from my 2600k and 670. Bit of an earlier upgrade than I intended. But alas.
