Hi

I was using my wireless mouse yesterday and it just stopped tracking. Everything else works. I tried it on another mac but the same thing. I also changed the batteries but nothing. Has the laser just died or what. Any ideas much appreciated.

Thanks

Jeff

possibly the worst most fault prone product ever created by apple, get a decent mouse is the best advice i can give.

+1 i used mine for a week before it packed in, apple sent me a replacement but i decided to get a logitech mx rev which has been brilliant, and the replacement MM has been put in the imac box

I was gonna post on here this morning saying my MM is fine after 6 months of 8hours a day usage in work.

But the scrolly bit just broke :|

I have the same issue with my MM, I was dubious on swapping for the MX Revolution after it stopped scrolling because it felt so nice in my hand and looked good with the iMac.

But since getting it replaced under warranty, it's still in it's wrapper. Bought the MX Revolution, as expensive as it may be, absolutely brilliant mouse!

The Mighty Mouse, when it works, I think is one of the best mice out there.

The problem is what with the scroll ball it makes it like a yearly mouse subscription :(

Using my "old" MX1000 which has been working perfectly for the past 4 years :)
