Hey guys a quick question..

Lets say site A has 2 ADSL lines and the bosses decided to move the business to site B...(wants to be on same provider)

How easy is this to do? can you migrate the telephone numbers and same lines across to the new site? Is is a lengthy process? (timescale)

They are both on the same exchange..literally a few miles apart.

Hope you can help :)

It might work with simultaneous provision, but otherwise you're probably talking about a week with no ADSL.
The best answer is to talk to your ISP, because the ADSL side is the most awkward of the two.

Keeping the same numbers added an extra month to adsl provisioning when I last moved. Unfortunately I did not know this & was not told at the time :(

We did this with Zen recently and they had both sites working at the same time to allow us to move over with no issues. The phone number did change though.

Yeah, if you don't change number it's easy to get ADSL activated on the new line (once it's up and running of course) and cancel ADSL on the old line later.

I went through this process recently and we couldnt keep the same number, even tho it was still the same area code, we were connected to a new exchange. BT cant transfer the number to the new exchange!!
For a fee they can redirect
