I dual booted my mum's Vista Laptop with Windows 7 Ultimate onto a small partition, now she's used it a bit she much prefers it and would like to stick with it.
I understand that when you dual boot, the boot files go into the partition where the previous OS is located. How do I make it so Windows 7 is the primary OS and allow me to delete the original Vista partition?
Now, I've already done this on my machine from XP to Windows 7, but it was more by luck than judgement. I downloaded a whole host of little programs but I don't know how I managed it, just a fluke I guess. So if possible I would like a definitive procedure for sorting out the laptop.
All help much appreciated.
