Hi,
I have a QNAP TS-219P+ NAS with two 2TB Seagate Barracuda Green LP drives in RAID 1. I just bought another identical drive and planning to migrate my data to my Microserver with my Adaptec 5405 RAID Controller in RAID 5 running ESXi. I want to use the two drives in the NAS with the one I just bought.
Can anyone suggest the easiest way to do this? Could I use one as a single volume, create a datastore, copy the data across to one and then stick the other two in and do a raid level migration?
