Migrating from one host to another using cPanel

I have a couple of sites which I am in charge of this year and I'm wanting to move them to a new host. I can access them all from logging into the same cPanel from the main site. I know the host I am wanting to migrate to offers assisted migration but I think they charge £49 per site.

I'm looking to do this as cheaply as possible so if it's easy I would rather do it myself, but want to have as little downtime as possible and lose as few changes as I can (there is a forum attached to the site). I also have a mailman system linked to the site.

Is it just a case of going into cPanel, going to backup wizzard and backing up then restoring everything to the new host? Also once this is done how do I make sure the URL points to the new servers and all sites can be accessed OK?

Sorry if these are stupid questions. The new host is Vidahost if that makes a difference

cPanel -> cPanel is easy, just send them (me) the cPanel backup file

OK, so I've now got my backup files from the old server (using backup wizard -> backup -> full backup, is this all I need to get all my files and settings copied?)

How do I go about restoring this backup on the new hosting server?
