:)

Started with AOL dial-up many years ago, moved to broadband the day it was available at my exchange. Got the Gold upgrade to 1mb but soon after upgraded to Platinum "Rip-off".

Still waiting for this free speed upgrade that was promised...

*Looks at the BT line checker.... uhm.. 5.5mb/s...*
*Wonders why he is still on 2mb/s...*
*Wants to ring India, but can't understand them tbh.*

Only problem i've had was we were mysteriously cut off during the christmas period for no reason. No too bothered about that though, got a free router out of it. :)

Side effect of the cut off was annoyingness on my xbox. Setup an offline profile, which has no been upgraded to xbox live silver (30 days of gold till 22nd). This has all my gamerpoints on it and i'm left with my other profile with all my friends on but no save games. :( AOL angered me that day...

Im with AOL too, I pay £24.99 per month for 1gb service. My contract expires next week and am planning on moving to either Telewest or BT which is better. Ideally I dont want to pay more than £14.99 ish per month.

My line test via BT shows 6.5mb available.

Thanks...
