I have an x86 machine with a few user accounts and a variety of documents running Feisty. I'd like to move all user accounts, documents, and settings to another machine, a dual G4 PowerMac. I was wondering if there was any utility designed to aid this process. Is there? If not, have you fellows any links to guides that would be helpful in this area?

I looked into the Ubuntu Migration Assistant but it appears to only be useful when moving from Windows to Ubuntu GNU/Linux. Am I mistaken?

TIA :)

Surely you can just copy the home folders? :)
Yes, but there are still other things to consider such as my sudo configuration for each user and the user accounts themselves. I can have /home identical on both machines but that does not create the users and allow them to log into the system.

I can't think of a way of doing stuff such as copying users across, I'm not sure if there's the intention of that in the system.
