Migration Q's

This is not for me but a friend. He and his missus have just bought a new house. Their old house is with bt who they are still with but their new house they wish to go with talk talk (I know I already told them but they have their mind made up). Now because they are with bt atm can they switch over to talk talk now and they can set up a new connection in their new home or do they have to make a 6 month contract with bt first to connect their phone line?

If it's a different house migration doesn't enter into it at all. Migrations only apply if you're doing it on the same line.

They need to get a working line - from someone, whether it's directly with BT or not - first.
