After becoming increasingly frustrated with Nildram (Tiscali) over the last few Months with sub 1Mb/s speeds and particularly the constantly dying streaming speeds for iPlayer etc. I've decided to take the plunge and migrate to Be.

I know I need to get my MAC code, but what else do I need to do to ensure I'm not stuck without Internet for a while?

Also, Be supply a Wireless Modem, I don't want to use Wireless at all, I am right in thinking I can disable the Wireless and use it like my current ADSL Router? (Which is not ADSL2 compatible unfortunately, or I'd use that)

TIA doofer

that's it. you just need your mac details, bank details for direct debit and credit/debit card details to validate your id/address (they don't charge it). on activation day, your internet should only be down for a few minutes, maybe 30 minutes max.

and yes, you can disable the wireless. :)

Cool, thanks! I'm just waiting on my MAC code now. Shame what happened to Nildram they used to be brilliant :(
