I am now participating in this project and l have a question that might not require me to create an account on the milkyway@home forums, hopefully.

Boinc downloads both CPU and GPU projects for this project. Is there a way not to allow client to download any CPU projects since they are horribly slow and take up valuable CPU resources to run?

I would like only to run GPU workunits.

Go into your Milkyway@home preferences, uncheck the 'Use CPU' checkbox and then Update preferences, then update the Milkyway@home project in BOINC Manager (under the Projects tab).

Thanks for replying. I can't find the "Use CPU" checkbox anywhere. Isn't it under Advanced->Preferences? I only see l a checkbox in there to use GPU or not.
