Milan move for ‘grate’ Dane
Despite having done his utmost to upset Milan’s players when last they met, it seems as though Christian Poulsen is set to become their new teammate.

Poulsen’s physical display and rough treatment of a number of players during Schalke 04’s Champions League encounters with the Italian giants this season was a source of great irritation to the Rossoneri.

But it seems that the club’s directors have been won over by the Danish midfielder’s combative display and have agreed to sign him in the summer on a free.

Poulsen is renowned for his ability to get under the skin of his opponents and was the target of Francesco Totti’s projectile saliva, when the Roma man was infamously sent home in disgrace from Euro 2004 for spitting at him.

After protracted secret negotiations, in which Poulsen proved himself no less obstinate than he does on the field of play, it appears that an agreement has finally been reached on a three-year deal worth £1.7m to the 26-year-old.

How the Rossoneri - particularly Gennaro Gattuso, with whom Poulsen had several run-ins during their last match - respond to the news remains to be seen.

From another news story:
...Meanwhile, Vice-President Adriano Galliani admitted there was some truth in the reports that Milan are tracking Christian Poulsen, the Dane who infuriated Kaka, Gennaro Gattuso and Italy’s Francesco Totti with his rugged style of play.
Bad idea.
Looks like he's getting brought in to replace Ambrosini, who is aparentely getting swapped for Zebina at the end of the season.
But unless Poulsen can sort out with Gatusso, i cant see it being a good idea. I'd have Gatusso over him any day.
