Ok so earlier today I had to reset my bios,(890FXA-UD5) a standard procedure yes, but for some reason now (and after extensive testing) I have found I can no longer pass Prime 95 on my CPU 1055T 2.8GHz stock) on anything over 3.0GHz. Now, bearing in mind I had mine clocked at 3.4 for about three or so months until about six hours ago i'm really stuck for ideas, As of now I have tried; mild overvaulting (no overvaulting at all previously), reduced multiplier (was previously at max) and increased frequency, Removing all but one, and then two RAM sticks from the board.

Can anyone think of anything else that could be effecting this? I mean, i'm only trying to get another 400MHz out of it, which it had no problem doing before...

PS i think this should be in the overclocking forum?

Thankyou
