I have a slightly annoying wi-fi problem.
I have a D-link router which is a/b/g/n which i thought would give me good enough range to access wi-fi in my back garden, house and garden aren't that big!
Now, when in my garden, if i switch on wi-fi on my mobile phone (Sony Ericsson Xperia X1) it finds my wireless network showing 1 bar of signal strength. I can then browse the web on my mobile phone using wi-fi.
Great i thought, i'll get the laptop (Sony Vaio VGN-NR21Z) out here. So i switch the laptop on, it finds my wireless network showing 2 bars of signal strength, i click connect and it instantly tells me it cannot connect

I would expect the wi-fi adapter in my laptop (802.11 a/b/g/n) would be far superior than that in my mobile phone. And my laptop finds a better signal strength than my mobile, yet my phone connects but my laptop doesn't
Any ideas?
