Looking to update my wifi.
Can't decide between the Netgear Rangemax Next or Belkin N1

I currently have my xbox360 connected by ethernet to a belkin 54g access point/bridge can I use a USB wifi adaptor instead?

Just bought the Rangemax Next ADSL Router, and after some teething problems, which were solved by relocating the router away from my PC and into a clear space, it's now working excellent. You will not be able to use a usb wireless adapter with the Xbox 360. It has to be an ethernet bridge. I have the same one on my son's xbox 360. Only thing with the Netgear routers, is that you cannot use WDS to extend your range, but I think you can use a wireless extender.

If signal and range is the issue you could abandon wifi and try homeplug (ethernet over mains wiring).

Keep you existing router, add a homeplug to its ethernet port and one more homeplug adapter for every device to be networked (including xbox) and your done. Might take as long as 60 seconds to set each location up no drivers needed no hassle of configuring wifi, reconiguring your router etc 9assuming your satisfied with existing router). You could probably sell the belkin bridge easily as well.
