Some **** has gone along the front wing, both passenger doors and the rear wing of my PBlue ST220 with white aerosol spray paint. Of course, they made sure to spray the door handles/locks etc as well.

Anyway, spent this afternoon polishing it out with T-cut and some colour restorer and so far so good, thank God!

I really love my ST220. I've just spent a fortune on the ICE and I've only had it 2 months.

I spent years studying at uni and getting professional qualifications so I could make a life for the Mrs and send the kids to a good private school. We don't take/can't afford holidays; my ST220 is the first "luxury" I've alllowed myself, and then this.

Sorry I had to vent.

Parked on the street?

Yes.

Perhaps move to a new area with better parking arrangements and better local schools rather than going private, perhaps Harrogate or somewhere like that, that way at least you might have extra equity in a home and maybe something left over for holidays.

If only life were that simple.

Or, alternatively, give the children you brought into the world through no fault of their own the best chance you possibly can and send them to a decent school...

Exactly. Hull is not perfect but its meant that we've been able to give our kids the quality of life and education that I could never have imagined were we to live in, for instance, my home town of London.

Sorry to hear of this?

Are you going to need to dismantle the doors to remove the handles for a proper clean or can you get it all off?

I've removed 98% of it but there are still tiny remnants in the nooks of the handles if you look closely. I'm hoping a machine polisher will finish it off.

But it usually does.

Mindlessly booting every wing mirror off on the street or keying every car in a row is the stuff of morons however a single attack usually means you've done something someone doesn't like, yes it may not but it usually does.

Does it? I'd like to know what evidence you have for such an assertion.

I've had it with an 8 year old Focus, just because I actually look after it - everyone gives me funny looks when walking past just because I'm washing it

My car is spectacularly shiny :D I do love to detail when the weather is nice at the weekend :)

I actually never wash it outside my own home as I don't want to draw undue attention to myself. I always detail at my partner's house as she lives in a much more pleasant middle class area.

In Yorkshire? I thought we were better than that. I'd be livid.

Well I'm a southerner born and bred but I've lived in Yorkshire for approaching 10 years. Aside from the odd racist taunt in the early years I love living up here. Its been good to my family. Of course you can't get a decent bag of fish and chips up norf, but thats another story. :p
