i have a empty 160gb HDD here and i was thinking of installing ubuntu and then running it as a minecraft/file server (mainly media storage).
I noticed that there is a mine OS which will run minecraft os and allow you to connect to your pc with a browser admin etc. I was probably thinking of setting up something where i can send files to my pc via web browser while the server for minecraft is switched on. If im at home ill do it via lan or usb stick.
I just want opinions on this os. I much prefer ubuntu as im experienced with that but mine os does seem quite less of a hassle?

Sorry if its in the wrong section. Its a linux OS so i thought it would be more suited here.
