Minecraft help

My sons and stepson love playing minecraft and have recently got into pixelmon. They now want to play together on the PC instead of being restricted to the mobile edition so being the good dad that I am I have configured a vanilla server and pixelmon server for them. All is working fine and I can play from the pc but when I try and connect from the laptop at the same time it says:

Disconnected from server
You logged in from another location

Now this is because I've logged in using the same minecraft account in both locations. How do I get round this?

I'd rather avoid the cost of 3 more minecraft accounts!

No other way of doing it, you'd need another 2 accounts for 3 people.

Even if it's LAN only play?

Just created a demo account for 1 of em as it says LAN play is allowed but wouldn't allow me to log onto the server. Do I have to change something?

Just buy another account. I did for my son and he's had more than the money's worth of fun out of it.

Yeah normally I wouldn't mind but at minimum I have to buy 2 more so they can each use one. 40 quid for something they might not use very much...

set online-mode to false in server.properties.cfg

Have bought some really cheap accounts to test out as I'm pretty sure they wont work for long.
