Hi guys, i hope you can help me out.
I have a Sony Vaio VGN- NR21J. The specs are:
CPU: Intel DualCore T2330@ 1.6ghz
RAM: 2GB DDR2
GPU: Mobile GL960 Express. Intel GMA x3100
Running windows 7 x64
Running a 1280x800 resolution
Now i decided to give Minecraft ago after i tried it out on a friend's comp (why on earth have i left it this long?!)
The bugger's deceptvely demanding. With everything cranked up to Fancy and Smooth lighting on and render distance FAR i get absolutely **** all. I get framerates in the single digits.
Even when i take graphics down to Fast, Smooth lighting off and render distance to Normal i get single digits.
Only when i take the render distance to "TINY" will i get something like 20. But as soon as anything exciting happens (pigs running acoss or i clamber up a hill) they once again they drop to mid to low tens or single digits. Nevermind if i was under attack or had to do a lot of activity.
Can anyone offer any advice or tips? I didn't think Minecraft would be THIS demanding.
Thank you guys.
