LAVA & WOOD DO NOT MIX
If you value your work then do not use lava and wood if a creeper explodes next to your house up in flames it will go. Same thing also happens when we have a update the lava fix mod stops working for a while so up in flames you work goes.

It also makes the server look messy with burnt down buildings I can remove the use of lava if it keeps happening.

Monsters on or off I am not sure.

Are you members of the multiplay website ?
If you are, post me the email address you signed up with I can then add you to the clanforge users list this will let you restart the server also maybe let you do worldsaves, download worldsaves so you can do the over head map views & view the server account number if you need to get hold of support like today.
I am not 100% sure what access it will give you but its worth a try.
 
Does anyone else have any lag issues with the new patch? I just had a quick try and I logged on and started falling (world hadn't loadeD) and luckily the place I was in loaded quickly and I only took 1 and a half hearts of health dmg, along with some armour dmg. Also for some reason I noticed I had an extra diamond pick in my inventory, wasn't there last time I logged on (pre patch) and it couldn't have been on the ground as I logged in.

Currently though I found the game unplayable, it was OK for a few seconds but then became laggy to the point that I couldn't even open up my chests and I just gave up.

As for monsters on or off, I suggest we take a few days to let the patch and issues get fixed, then get everyone to give the town and their own buildings a good once over to check they are suitibly lit and once enough people are happy turn on mobs then, at leas tthat way it should reduce the suprises of someone forgetting to light a room of their house and it becoming a monster spawn (which could effect others)

Tried it, went back on today and nothing. I'm invisible, I can't pick anything up and I can't even kill myself (I thought maybe that would fix it).

I'm sat at the bottom of a lake right now, I just threw myself off a mountain. I think I'm god.

Edit: Having a bath in hot molten lava.

Server restart fixes this dude, happened to us on our server last night after a little pvp battle to the death :)
