Hey guys, this goes to all you guys who played Minecraft who were there from the start!

The guys who built amazing buildings, important memories, funky new ideas. The guys who started the craze, where are you lot now?

You know Minecraft, the online lego browser game, free to play at this time. The past maps where amazing, some great works of art!!
 
Haven't been on MC in a good few weeks. Got bored with it after a while. Sandbox is all well and good but once you've filled up 3 or 4 maps worth with cool stuff it gets a bit old :)
 
It was indeed great fun - I remember the very first map we did there were some amazing creations - this was before any of the colourful block types and the "sponge" blocks etc

Haven't touched it in months now though as most of the cool stuff is already done and I didn't ever create anything that interesting anyways :p
 
If you could create groups/moveable objects and write scripts I would probably still be playing. The novelty of building crazy buildings wears thin after a while. That new MMO "Love" might be a suitable substitute though.
 
I lost interest a bit (was loomy), a very good game with some good guys to play with. The only thing that annoyed me was when people destroyed our hard work, or dumped a smurf in the middle of a 'serious' map.
 
Got bored with it after awhile - like above theres only so much you can do in a sandbox before the novelty wears off. The amount of griefing also killed it for me.
 
I don't think there is any servers now. Time to time it was good to join and see new buildings, funky ideas but also build bit here or there to add to map was good. We should have a small server going again and just build what ppl like but maybe still have the jail at start. Kinda miss everyone online in one game unless there are other similar types of games out there? Or with moving things like lyon85 said?

Some great things been built on MC be great to see what the game will be like when finished.
 
Loved playing on my own server, but retards drawing peni and swastikas, and later hacking all over the shop spoilt it.
 
Lo, loved it while it lasted, wouldn't mind playing again but our work being wrecked all the time made me stop.

Great game, good fun, would be good to get all the original good players back again.
 
I'm still watching development, and playing when bored. Some player created survival maps are a good challenge. Still has potential.
 
Played it when it was first mentioned on here. Got bored after the first map though.
The second map just had too much crap on it which didn't look nice, and then the third map was so big I couldn't be bothered :p
