I just noticed this the other day. I run Minecraft and it looks nice and smooth not blurry in the distances. Then within about 10 seconds to a whole minute later. It looks less aliased and blurry.

Troubleshooting has shown me that supersampling in Minecraft stops the film grain effect you get in the distance where the aliasing of each individual block results in interspersed black pixels across the screen. When the game starts, it's working. Then after a few seconds, it "stops".

The AA is still running, and edges are smooth, but the blurry film grain effect is back. It happens after I look around. I could the camera still forever and it wouldn't change, but if I look and move about it stops.

How could Minecraft be turning off the supersampling?

I'm running two screens - the second becoming my desktop when my main screen runs a game. Could this be causing the problem? Spec in sig.

Pete.
